Weather: Despite heavy rain clouds, the weather was very pleasant and balmy.
General comments, points of interest: DUGS were determined to regain the trophy after 3 losses in a row and the strong team brought their A game as instructed. Special mention to Neil Cullen who went around in 2 under gross on his first visit to Carrickmines. This was followed by a very nice dinner and the Trinity cup was presented to Niall O’Connor by their Captain, David Nelson. Another friendly match with Carrickmines who were congratulated on the new holes they opened this summer.
